DigiME- Measure Your Height 1.1

This application provides an efficient method for individuals to accurately measure their height independently, utilizing a straightforward four-step process:

1. Locate the "D" logo on the floor.
2. Approach the logo closely.
3. Press the start button and position your phone on top of your head.
4. Await a confirmation signal, either through a beep or vibration.

Your height will then be displayed on the screen.

It is noteworthy that human height is not static and can change throughout one's lifetime. From birth until the late teenage years, individuals typically experience rapid growth. However, after reaching approximately 18 to 20 years of age, growth generally ceases for most, even with a nutritious diet.

Aging can lead to a gradual height reduction, with individuals potentially losing about half an inch (1 centimeter) every decade after the age of 40. This height loss may be exacerbated by postural issues and tends to accelerate significantly after reaching 70 years of age, with total losses ranging from 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5 centimeters) over time.

The reduction in height is linked to age-related changes in bone density, muscle strength, and joint flexibility. Moreover, it is heavily influenced by one's posture throughout life.
